We wanted to communicate to you everything we are doing at The Swan to ensure that our customers and staff are kept safe. Social Distancing
We are adhering to the 1m+ rule. Our tables and furniture have been spaced to allow for this. Please respect this rule and help us to keep you safe.
Table Size
We will not accept table booking for more than 6 unless you all live together
One-way System
We are operating a clearly marked one-way system, with a separate entrance and exit to avoid any bottle necks. Please do follow this.
Facemasks
Please wear a facemask when you are not seated.
Menus
All menus are “single-use” and are thrown away into our recycling bin after every guest to guarantee 100% safety
Table Service
Please do not order at the bar. A member of the team will be over to take your order.
Opening Times
We are now closing at 11pm. Last orders 10pm
Sanitising
Please sanitise using supplied sanitiser on arrival. We sanitise tables, chairs & credit card machines after every group departs. In addition, all surfaces that are regularly touched by guests are cleaned continually.
Contact Tracing
Please supply contact details. Either via the NHS track and trace QR code positioned in the bar (you have to have the NHS app to use this) or our own QR code.
Payments
We will not accept cash. Please use cards or contactless payments.
Enhanced cleaning throughout
As well as our normal fastidious standards we are disinfecting all touch surfaces and you will notice our staff busying away with this throughout the day.
Staff Safety
All our staff will maintain even higher than normal hygiene standards, in particular, constant hand washing and sanitising.

If you are one household/support bubble then there is no maximum number for table bookings.
Yes the Government has asked that all employees and all clients leave their contact details so that if there has been any contact with someone with Covid they can trace those people.
Yes you can pre-order either by email or by phone.
Yes numbers will be limited and controlled so that we adhere to Government guidelines.

No. Guests will be served tea or coffee, a choice of fresh juice and 2 slices of sourdough toast, butter and jam. A full a la Carte breakfast menu will also be offered.
