Will Bowlby is the co-founder and Executive Chef of Kricket, the celebrated Indian inspired collection of restaurants. Kricket combines British ingredients with the flavours and aromas of India. Will was classically trained in London under Rowley Leigh among others and then moved to Mumbai where he developed a passion for Indian cuisine and culture. Upon his return, Will worked under Vivek Singh at the Cinnamon Club. It was after this that Will was able to combine his classical training with a knowledge and passion for Indian food, resulting in the creation of Kricket’s unique menus.
We’re thrilled to be welcoming Will to The Double Red Duke for the next edition of our Chef Series and can’t wait to sample some of his fantastic Indian inspired menus.

The inaugural classic from the Côte Citron Country Creatures Cricket Club, otherwise known as the Six Cs, took place last Friday beneath a blazing Oxfordshire sun. A competitive day (in spirit, if not in skill) saw some of the country’s finest chefs and critics trade kitchen tools for cricket bats. While the gameplay wasn’t exactly textbook, the rosé flowed, the @cote__citron beers were cold, and the company more than made up for it! A big thank you to all who participated 🏏🌿 #CountryCreatures #CôteCitron
