Across the Cotswolds, our pubs bring fresh energy to some of the region’s most characterful buildings. The Mason’s Arms is a 17th-century village local where quiet afternoons have a habit of turning lively. The Wild Duck in Ewen pairs beams and open fires with thoughtfully designed rooms above.
The Double Red Duke in Clanfield balances bold interiors and open-fire cooking with bedrooms made for switching off, while its Bicester Village sibling offers a slice of countryside comfort in unexpected surroundings. Different addresses, same principles: good food, well-kept drinks and a spirit that feels unmistakably alive.

The #CountryCreatures Weekend Guide 🌿
With temperatures set to soar this week, there’s no better time to escape to Castle Combe. Often called one of England’s prettiest villages, Castle Combe is the perfect summer destination. Think honey-coloured cottages, flower-filled gardens, gentle riverside walks and picturesque streets that look untouched by time.
Take a stroll along the Bybrook River, enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the village pubs, or simply wander with an ice cream in hand and soak up the atmosphere ☀️

Chefs swapped tongs for bats, critics traded notebooks for wickets, and the annual Chefs vs Critics cricket match returned once again to the Cotswolds` very own Theatre of Dreams. 🏏
A competitive day (at least in spirit) saw some of hospitality`s finest battle it out on the pitch. While the cricket wasn`t always textbook, the @cote__citron beers were refreshingly cold and the company more than made up for it.
Finally, a big thank you to our chef & press attendees 🏏

A meeting of minds, materials and craftsmanship.
When interior designer @georgie_pearman sat down with @zardi_and_zardi, the conversation centred around storytelling through interiors. Layering colour, texture and heritage to create spaces with warmth and character.
Pictured here @thewildduckewen, the Frampton Verdure and Triumph of the Gods tapestries by Zardi & Zardi bring depth and quiet drama to our Cotswold pub with rooms, which opened last year. Thoughtfully chosen, beautifully made and integral to the atmosphere of the pub 🌿
