The Double Red Duke has found a home at Bicester Village, bringing a touch of Cotswold character along with it. Thoughtful British design, seasonal cooking and plenty of charm – it’s the sort of place that feels easy from the moment you walk in.
Drop by for a long lunch, settle in for an early supper or simply claim a seat at the bar for a cocktail once the shopping bags start to feel heavy. We’re open from morning through to evening, and ready whenever you are.
There’s also a proper Afternoon Tea on offer, with house-made scones and cakes, neatly cut sandwiches and tea poured just as it ought to be.
Our kitchen is very much the centre of things. From bar snacks to proper puddings, we take the best of what’s in season and turn it into honest cooking – generous, comforting and made to be enjoyed.

A Friday night to remember🍷
We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the brilliant Angela Hartnett to the Duke at @bicestervillage for a very special evening of Mediterranean-inspired feasting, good wine and even better company.
A wonderful night as part of our Country Creatures Chef Series and Bicester Village`s Dish + Tell Supper Club.

Christmas in the Cotswolds
The fires are lit and Christmas will be here before we know it. If you`re starting to think about plans, here`s what`s on at each of our pubs this year…

Open right through the festive season, Christmas Day included, so you can leave the hard work to us this year. Festive Feasting menus from late November for groups of 8, and rooms if you fancy making a proper break of it.

Our first Christmas with the bedrooms open. Roaring fires, the very best beers on tap and plenty of room for your festive party or a catch-up with friends. Christmas lunch is served just over the road at the Duke.

Our very first Christmas at the Wild Duck, and we`re open throughout. Boxing Day walks, wreath making, chestnuts on the fire… and rooms upstairs for anyone not quite ready to go home.

It`s not all shopping at Bicester Village. A festive set menu with Norfolk Bronze turkey, braised Hereford beef and Christmas pudding, plus great spaces for the office party.

Up in the eaves @masonsarmsclanfield 🌿
We`ve wrapped one of our attic bedrooms, sloping ceilings and all, in William Morris`s Snakeshead. It`s a pattern he designed in the 1870s, named after the snake`s head fritillary, a little wildflower that still pops up in the Thames meadows round here.
It seemed only right with Kelmscott Manor, Morris`s much-loved country home, just down the road from us. It`s the place he called "heaven on earth", and inspired so much of his work.

Eight new bedrooms have joined the @masonsarmsclanfield. Full of character dating back to the 17th century, cosy corners and just enough comfort to make heading home feel rather unnecessary.
