We were packed to the rafters for this one off experience of culinary excellence from Phil Howard. Phil is a hugely well respected chef in the culinary world. Originally chef and co-owner of the two Michelin starred The Square and now at the celebrated Elystan Street in Lodnon we knew we were in for a treat.
The Chef’s counter was, again, at the heart of the action where our guests got the added bonus of watching the master at work at close quarters. We were treated to a delicious 5 course menu including a pretty special Barbecued Pressa of Iberico Pork with Olive Oil Creamed Potato, Glazed Endive & Orange and a pudding of Port Roasted Figs with Citrus Beignets & Goats Milk Ice Cream.

The inaugural classic from the Côte Citron Country Creatures Cricket Club, otherwise known as the Six Cs, took place last Friday beneath a blazing Oxfordshire sun. A competitive day (in spirit, if not in skill) saw some of the country’s finest chefs and critics trade kitchen tools for cricket bats. While the gameplay wasn’t exactly textbook, the rosé flowed, the @cote__citron beers were cold, and the company more than made up for it! A big thank you to all who participated 🏏🌿 #CountryCreatures #CôteCitron
