Clanfield does not have its own train station, but Charlbury offers a direct link from London Paddington. It is then about 30 minutes’ drive to get to Double Red Duke, transport prebookings are advised as there is no taxi rank outside the station.
From London Marylebone you can take a direct train to Oxford, it is then about 30 minutes’ drive with a taxi, there is a taxi rank outside Oxford train station so prebooking are not necessarily required.

Please bear in mind that taxi services around our area may not be as convenient as they are at home. Our advice is to book your transport as soon as you know when and where you need to be to prevent you being late for your next destination, train or flight. Please be aware that a lot of firms will charge more than the average as there is a high demand for taxis and not very many of them.
