8th October, from 6pm
Rounding off our chef series, in October will be esteemed chef and co-founder of Rochelle Canteen, Margot Henderson OBE. Margot’s menu will reflect the traditional no-nonsense cooking she is known for.
Whilst working at the Eagle in Farringdon, Margot met her husband to be and fellow chef Fergus Henderson, and together they went on to open the dining room at the iconic French House in Soho. Margot then ran the restaurant with Melanie Arnold for the next seven years. Since 2006 the two have been running Rochelle Canteen which boasts a daily changing menu that remains close to the seasons. Delivered with energy and love of good ingredients and support for local farming, produce-led cooking and best in quality is at the heart of Rochelle Canteen.
Margot’s latest venture has been opening The Three Horseshoes in Batcombe, Somerset.
