The Wild Duck will open from 2nd of March 2026. Room reservations are now open via this link.

Our guaranteed check-in time is from 3pm until 10pm on the day or arrival. Please be aware that the Wild Duck will be closed from 10pm and we do not operate a late check in facility unless pre-authorised. Earlier check in may be possible at charge of £25, please make us aware of your desired time prior to your arrival.

We ask you to vacate all bedrooms by 11am on the day of your departure. Should you wish to check out at a later time, this must be arranged prior to your stay and may incur additional charges.

Some of our Medium rooms will be dog friendly. £25 per night per dog pet fee applies, please make sure to tell us at the time of booking that dog friendly room is required for your stay.

We have 1 Family room suitable for two adults and two children. Rest of our rooms will be adults only. Apart from couple of Large rooms that will have some space to accommodate a travel cot for babies under 2 years old.

We are not looking to take large bedroom bookings that do not include the associated dinner bookings. We are sure you appreciate that we are keen to create a busy and fun atmosphere in the pub for both locals and visitors alike and want to make sure we do everything we can to achieve this.

We require a full prepayment for your bedroom 3 days before arrival. Special T&Cs apply for group reservations.

You may cancel your room booking free of charge, up to 3 days prior to 3pm on the day of your arrival. Any cancellations made after this time will be charged. The cancellation fee will equal the full amount of the stay. The same policy applies for no-shows. Special T&Cs apply for group reservations.

Yes, all rooms will have a cooked breakfast included.

Massages are not suitable for anyone who may be pregnant, Maternity Facial can be offered as an alternative as long as the person is at least 12 weeks along with the pregnancy; please make us aware of any allergies and injuries at the time of booking. Once booked, there is 24-hour cancellation policy to keep in mind should your plans change, if you cancel within this period the full price of the treatment will be charged.

We have a limited availability of parking spaces on site, allocated on first come first basis.

One of our Medium rooms is easy access and has a wet room style bathroom. If you have any specific requirements, please make sure to include these with your reservation notes so that we can make sure a suitable room is allocated for your stay.

Cosy rooms – Our Cosy rooms are in the oldest part of the building with spiral staircases, full of original features and some low beams. The rooms are full of character and beautiful nooks and crannies. Super king size beds, separate bathroom with shower, Wi-Fi, Roberts radio, phone, TV, Luxurious 100 Acres toiletries, mini bar, A/C.

Medium Rooms – Our Medium rooms have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay with our enormous beds and cosy interiors. Most rooms have super king size beds, separate bathroom with shower, Wi-Fi, Roberts radio, phone, TV, luxurious 100 Acres toiletries, some rooms have patio access, some rooms are dog friendly, all rooms have a mini bar, some rooms have A/C. One room has a wet room style shower and easy access.

Large rooms – Large rooms are in our barn building and are our very best rooms with lots of space. They have super king size beds, sofas or armchairs and bathrooms with free standing baths and walk in shower. Book in to stay for a restful and comfortable escape. Wi-Fi, Roberts radio, phone, TV, luxurious 100 Acres toiletries, mini bar, desk, most have A/C.

Family room – Our first-floor Family room is the perfect room for a family of four with a separate bunk area. There’s lots of space with a sofa and desk area and separate bunk area beyond. Super king size bed with separate bunk room (divided by a curtain), separate bathroom with shower, free standing bath in the bedroom, Wi-Fi, Roberts radio, phone, TV, luxurious 100 Acres toiletries, mini bar.

At the Wild Duck we only accept card payments.
