The first Thursday of the month

Some of the most tantalising curries from around the world from Thailand to Bangladesh and everywhere in between.

The Duke's Jazz Nights

Sunday 3rd April and the last Sunday of the month thereafter. 6.30-9.30pm

While away your Sunday evening listening to our Jazz trio in the bar, while sipping your favourite cocktail. A celebrated collection of musicians will be playing in the bar at The Double Red Duke the last Sunday of every month.

First up (on Sunday 3rd April) we welcome Maff Potts – Piano, Raph Mizraki – Bass and Keith Fairbairn – Drum Kit.

To follow on 24th April, then 29 May and to continue on the last Sunday of every month

Jubilee Weekend

Thursday 2nd June 4-7pm

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in style with afternoon Tea, Jazz and Croquet on the lawn. Cakes from Blakes’s, everyone’s favourite baker, sandwiches, tea and champagne.

Country Creatures Chef Series: Brad Carter

26th June

A Brummie through and through, Brad Carter grew up in Birmingham and now owns the Michelin-starred restaurant Carters of Moseley, in the south of the city, which he opened with his partner Holly Jackson in 2010.

Brad’s food is a true expression of British terroir and he will be sure to bring this ethos to his cooking at The Double Red Duke.
